We pumpkin patched!

I tried to find the great one we went to last year with at little store (sold sock monkey hats, adoraballs) it had a barn with animals, a hay ride, pumpkins (duh) and a super sweet farm store with fresh veg.

Well, we stopped this year at another patch first. It was TERRIBLE. First off, they wanted everyone to buy tokens to pay for everything. Fuck you for asking me to exchange currency in hopes that I only use 9 of my 11 tokens and you somehow make an extra buck. Fuck you. You’re a farm on an island 15 miles outside of Portland, and we are a discretionary people. I bought no tokens, I will not be back. You were the Gresham of Pumpkin Patches (only ppl from Portland will get that - its a place where gators run free, everyone smokes and its 1998 everyday.)

BUT! We found an AWESOME pumpkin patch on the other side of the island. Horses, pumpkins, amazing veg…but also… organic cotton candy (? but ok), a school bus serving local nut brown ales (!!), local artisan cheese tasting (!!!), roasted corn on the cob….and one happy mama.
