We’ve been leaving Porter in the house ALONE for the last few days……trying to ween him out of his kennel, which we wont have room for once fat baby gets here. So far, successful. All he does is move his bed across the room so that he can lay in it and watch the door…..but with the day Ive had, I wont be surprised if after the Blazer game hes eaten our Christmas tree.

Doctor appt 11:15 - pushed to 12:15 because shes running late. Fuck you.

Doctor tells me “You’ve only gained 4 pounds in the last month, thats great - but your baby is measuring too big. Come in Friday for an ultrasound”. Baby already on diet. Fuck you. (Or its time to tell Mike one of the Trailblazers is the daddy)

Work calls (this is my day off) “Shauna is sick - we need you”. FUUUUCCKKK THIS.

The one good thing = my other co-worker left home made toffee and fudge. BABY DIET STARTS TOMORROW.

This is the Christmas tree that has been sitting in the living room unadorned for a week. My mom is too scared to decorate it herself, she is a tiny woman.

It was probably a 10 footer until my dad cut it to fit our 9 foot ceilings, which it scrapes. This is a Griswold tree.

(note: it is not wearing antlers, that’s a brass chandelier. And no, it’s not in the shape of antlers. Trust me, if I had a brass antler chandelier in my living room, you’d know about it.)

Dad said the tree he got Sarah was bigger. Actually, he said “when I cut the ropes, the kids ran for the walls”
